Celebrations Child Care Ministry

Celebrations Child Care began in the fall of 2000 with the goal of providing quality childcare support in a Christian environment for the New Palestine community. Celebrations is a Level Three Paths To Quality-rated program by the State of Indiana’s Family and Social Services Administration. Our child care ministry provides care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. We offer general child care services, preschool and pre-kindergarten curriculum, as well as and before/after school care for elementary-aged students. We work in cooperation with the Community School Corporation Of Southern Hancock County (New Palestine schools) as we prepare students for Kindergarten; additionally we have transportation agreements with New Palestine schools for bus transportation for students under our care. We also provide educational support and care during the school year when the school buildings are closed for weather related closures, virtual learning days, and e-learning days.

SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
Celebrations offers a summer camp program for students entering Kindergarten through entering 6th grade (for the fall academic year). We divide our students into three age groups for our Summer Camp: K-1st 2nd-3rd and 4th-6th. We hire energetic staff to provide care for our Summer Camp. Our participants in our Summer Camp remain very busy with several field trips throughout the summer, including: Indianapolis Indians baseball game, rafting trip along the Whitewater River (Brookville), bowling, swimming, local parks, and movie days.

Teaching Philosophy

It is the goal of Celebrations to give your child the opportunity to experience high quality Christian educational care. Each child is treated with respect and love and is offered a positive learning environment. Developmentally appropriate activities will provide opportunity for growth in cognitive language small and large motor social emotional and self-help skills. Children attend Bible time that is geared toward teaching basic Bible truths. Your questions comments and input are always welcome.
